Common Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Unfolding works without one. What you write is saved to an anonymous account tied to this device, so it cannot sync and cannot be recovered if the phone is lost. Signing in keeps that same writing and carries it across your devices.
What does it run on?
iOS 26 and later.
How do I report a problem?
In the app, open Profile, then About Unfolding, then Send Feedback. Basic device information is attached to help find the problem. You can also write to support@getunfolding.com.
What happens to what I write?
It is never sold, and it is never used to train AI models. The AI features run only when you choose them. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
Your Writing Is Yours
Take a copy
Open Profile, then Privacy & Data, then Export Data. Export is free, with or without an account. Photos and voice notes come as links, so they stop working if the account is deleted.
Delete your account
Open Profile, then Account, then Permanent Actions, then Delete Account. This removes your account and everything in it. Deletion is permanent, and completes within 30 days. If you would like a copy of your writing, export it first.
